Today marks the opening of the 4th season of the current Bridgwater Farmers' Market. Come down  and meet the people grow and produce food, crafts and more in our community. The market is held on King Street between Empire and Dominion Streets. Just look for our sign above the lot.

Darren Arsenault will be sharing his bluesy originals and the Bluenose Coastal Action Project will be on hand with information and edcuation about their cause.

All sorts of vegetables, fruits, berries, artisan french breads, old-fashioned home baking, granola & granola bars, jams, jellies, pickles, herbed salts, hormone & antibiotic-free eggs & grass-fed beef, pork, lamb & smoked meats,
soy & beeswax candles, hand-made soaps, hand-crafted country pine decor & furnishings, up-cycled clothing, annual and perennial transplants, herbs, trees and bushes, waffles on a stick, grilled sausages, hot fair-trade coffee and teas, espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, lemonade, and MORE!

A market is so much more than a collection of vendors, it is a community of people coming together to promote a vision of quality, locally-sourced products, a vision of sustainability in terms of being responsible for our own food security, and creating a meeting place as much as a place for local commerce, where people can connect and feel like they are part of something greater. It requires a partnership of many to succeed.

We look forward to seeing you here.
