Meet our youngest market vendor - Gwyneth Kosiba of Get Crafty!

You’ve probably seen her adorable sock gnomes online - get ready to meet the girl behind these unique creations!
At just 12-years-old, Gwyneth Kosiba of Get Crafty! is the youngest vendor at the Bridgewater Farmers’ Market. Her products include one-of-a-kind handmade beaded aromatherapy bracelets, seasonal sock gnomes, and rock art.
Gwyneth started making these handmade creations last year and began attending the in-person market around the same time. “My brother used to make dog treats, and I wanted to make something too, so I started doing this,” she said.
Gwyneth’s brother, Owen, had a booth at the market selling his homemade dog treats for three years. He initially started making and selling these treats to raise money to pay for hockey camp. Gwyneth initially started selling her products for a similar reason - to raise money for a dance trip.
“It might not happen, but I’m still raising money, just in case,” she said.
She was supposed to go on a trip to Paris to dance at Disneyland, but because of COVID-19, this trip may not be happening anymore. She is continuing to raise and save money for the trip in case things change.
Out of all of her creations, Gwyneth does have a favourite. “The rock art is definitely my favourite thing to make,” she said.
You can also find aromatherapy bracelets at Gwyneth’s table. The black beads are a porous material that you can put essential oils on so they diffuse throughout the day.
